The Britain Tanzania Society aims to increase mutual knowledge, understanding and respect between the peoples of Britain and Tanzania

Welcome
The Britain-Tanzania Society aims to increase mutual knowledge, understanding and respect between the peoples of Britain and Tanzania through seminars, events and publications, and through the development of education, health, water and sanitation and other self-help community development activities and the promotion of gender equality.

Why join BTS?
All officers of the Britain Tanzania Society are voluntary and unpaid. Only a small amount of money is needed for administration such as postage and production of the BTS magazine, ‘Tanzanian Affairs’.

The Tanzania Development Trust
TDT was established as a registered UK charity in 1975 with the aim of alleviating poverty in Tanzania through assistance with projects in health, water supply, education and community-based self-help activities.
